Frequently Asked Questions

Good Guys Membership

What is the Good Guys Auto Care Membership?

Our membership is a $35-per-month household vehicle-care program covering up to four vehicles. Members receive special pricing, standard diagnostic benefits, priority scheduling, and other included vehicle-care services.

What benefits are included?

Membership benefits include:

  • Member pricing on qualifying parts and labor
  • Standard diagnostics, generally up to one hour
  • Complimentary qualifying wiper blades, exterior bulbs, engine air filters, and cabin air filters
  • Basic battery installation
  • Priority scheduling
  • Access to our Repair Assistance Program

Availability, vehicle compatibility, mobile-service fees, and other program terms may apply.

Are repairs included with my membership?

No. The membership is not insurance, a warranty, or a repair plan that pays the full cost of repairs. It provides valuable included services and discounted member pricing on qualifying work.

Does Good Guys Auto Care perform every type of repair?

We provide many mobile maintenance, diagnostic, and repair services, but some jobs require specialized equipment or facilities. If a concern falls outside our service capabilities, we will explain what we found and recommend that the vehicle be taken to an appropriate specialist.

Is there a long-term membership contract?

No. The standard membership is billed monthly and may be canceled according to the cancellation process below.

How do standard diagnostics work?

Standard diagnostics generally include visual inspections, code scanning, and basic testing for up to one hour. Advanced testing, teardown, specialty diagnosis, travel, or mobile-service charges may cost extra. We will explain any additional charge before proceeding.

Free Washer Fluid Route

What is the Free Washer Fluid Route?

The Good Guys Free Washer Fluid Route provides up to one pint of windshield-washer fluid when we visit your neighborhood. It is a simple way for you to meet a local mobile mechanic before you need one.

Do I need a paid membership to join?

No. The Washer Fluid Route is completely separate from our paid membership. No purchase or paid membership is required.

Is there really no charge?

Correct. We will add up to one pint of washer fluid at no charge. If your reservoir is very low or empty, one pint may not fill it completely.

How often will you visit?

Visits are scheduled by neighborhood and do not follow a guaranteed interval. We will contact you when we are planning your next route day.

Does the free top-off include a vehicle inspection?

No. The free service only includes adding up to one pint of washer fluid. However, if you have a vehicle concern or overdue maintenance, you are welcome to ask about it and request a no-obligation quote.

Do I have to purchase anything during the visit?

No. There is no purchase requirement. If you do not need any automotive services, we will top off your washer fluid and be on our way.

How do I leave the Free Washer Fluid Route?

You may ask to be removed at any time by calling or texting (405) 586-0422, submitting the Contact form, or replying STOP to a route text message.

Membership Cancellation

How do I cancel my membership?

You may also request cancellation through the form on our Contact page. Contact-form cancellation requests can take up to 72 hours to process. Please include the name and telephone number associated with your membership.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You may request cancellation at any time. Once your cancellation has been processed, your membership will not renew for another billing period.

Will I receive a refund after canceling?

Membership payments that have already been processed are nonrefundable, except where otherwise required by law. You may continue using your membership benefits through the end of the period for which you have already paid.

What if I have an outstanding Repair Assistance balance?

Canceling a membership does not cancel or forgive an existing repair balance or another payment agreement. Any outstanding balance remains due according to the terms accepted when the payment plan was established.
